The Challenge

Tealium is a global leading SaaS organisation and has raised over $250 Million USD in part of their aggressive growth strategy. APAC features as a strategic region in the global plan and as such an aggressive hiring plan was announced across all areas of the business. Sydney, Australia was chosen as the Regional HQ with later plans to scale into wider APAC especially NZ, Japan and Singapore.

The Approach

Upon completing a review of the Regional Plan, an aligned resource plan was created and Tealium engaged Bamboo Consulting to avoid a lack of talent access and open head count being responsible for putting the Regional Plan at risk. Pipelines of talent would be built and nurtured across Tealium’s core business pillars of Consulting, Marketing and Sales ahead of plan to enable the best In-market talent to be engaged.

The Solution

Tealium engaged Bamboo Consulting on their “Timed Hired” Solution to de-risk critical headcount milestones and the respective business outcomes they’d be responsible for. The Managing Director worked in close collaboration with Stuart Russell operating as their Delivery Program Lead to ensure all internal stakeholders were aligned and accountable.

The Experience

The “Timed Hire” methodology gave¬†Tealium engaged candidates that were inaccessible to their competitors. This competitive edge has enabled them to onboard multiple industry “A gamers” and as a result far surpass their Regional Plan: so much so Tealium ANZ has been awarded the top performing region GLOBALLY for performance against plan. Bamboo Consulting achieved 80% fill rate of engaged roles across multiple business functions including Sales, Marketing and Consulting.
